You can use the database, Opposing Viewpoints, to locate pro/con articles for many topics, so you will have a better understanding of what some of the arguments will be to your position. Type your search term, in this case, transgender rights (highlighted in yellow below), in the text box. If your topic is broad enough, many times it will appear as you start typing (which occurred in the example below). Then click the magnifier glass icon to the right (circled in red below). The results page (shown below) will have an article that is a general overview of the topic, if you want to read the various Viewpoints (pro/con articles), click on that link below the article.
