Trans Accessible Libraries Initiative

This guide provides practical information and library resources for transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming students, and those interested in trans studies.

Psychology and Mental Health Resources

This page provides access to:

  • A selection of current Psychology e-books (if you would like to find older e-books, or books in print, please use the UNT Libraries Catalog),
  • The PsychInfo database to locate current academic research in behavioral science and mental heath, and
  • A selection of web resources to find a therapist (locally and nationally), information for sexual assault survivors, information about the Trans Lifeline, professional standards and guidelines, and some general websites related to gender and mental health.

If you need help with your research, please contact the Women's and Gender Studies/LGBTQ Studies Librarian, Julie Leuzinger (she/her/hers).

NOTE: While we have tried to use inclusive language in this guide, if you notice anything that could be improved, please don't hesitate to contact us with suggestions.
