Domestic & Family Violence
Surviving Domestic Violence in Childhood
If you are a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault, contact the Survivor Advocate Office. This office is a division of the Dean of Students. Their staff can connect you counseling, health, and legal resources based on you need.
Domestic violence and sexual assault are, unfortunately, common at universities. At UNT, we aim to make our campus safer by implementing programs to keep students safe and educate them about the complex issues related to violence and assault. The Libraries has a strong partnership with the Dean of Students Office and Survivor Advocate office in these programs. In addition to the Help Yourself Campaign, we provide information on university initiatives sponsored by the Dean of Students Office. You can learn more about programs, trainings, and resources available by following the links below.
The Library is commented to educating students on harassment and stalking and campus resources available to help. Want to learn more about services available to you? Click the link above.
