The Spark and the UNT Library workstations are provided as part of the UNT student computer labs available to UNT students. The Spark also has specialized workstation that are specific for makerspace equipment and training.

As part of the UNT Student Computer Labs, one of our primary goal is to provide computing services to the UNT community and to facilitate the academic pursuits of UNT students with their computing needs.

Starting in the Fall 2021, Laptop checkout in Willis Library will be from the SPARK makerspace. The laptops will be an a first come, first serve basis.

In order to provide an environment that will be supportive of our patrons academic pursuits, including continuing to provide some space that allows for a quiet, non-distracting atmosphere, the facility respects and follows a basic set of procedures.
