UNT Celebrates 75 years in the FDLP

On March 30, 1948, the Classified List was returned to GPO with the first items the North Texas State Teachers College (NTSTC) Library selected to receive as a newly designated Federal Depository Library. 

Join us on Thursday, April 27, 2023 as we celebrate 75 years as a federal depository library

This event will feature an address by Scott Matheson, Superintendent of Documents as well as refreshments, games, giveaways, and highlights from our collections.

Located within the Sycamore Library at UNT’s historic Sycamore Hall, the Government Information Connection is a “library within the library,” offering books and resources pertaining to nearly every conceivable subject. As a member of the Federal Depository Library Program, we serve the citizens of the 26th U.S. Congressional District of Texas.
