Note: Grading and assignment creation from your instructor/dept (not library/librarians) Here are some tips that have been helping students so far! 😊
---------------
Topic selection:
This is between you and your instructor. However, here are some very general tips.
Keep it broad more general, then narrow down as possible.
You may want a broader topic (the more variables, or themes in your topic, the more you are asking the database to search for, meaning less results. Maybe pick one or two "AND" concepts. Of course all results depend on your topic versus what has been published. Don't worry, it's a process. You can try something than tweak the search terms based on results
Lot's of students were asking about this which is understandable because a title won't give you this information. You are already using a scholarly journal because you are limited to these four so you probably don't have to worry about a lot of reviews, etc. Open up the full text article and look for "Methods" or "Methodology" section (it might be in abstract as well). Research/Studies: Quantitative (you'll see sample size data like N=45, etc) or qualitative (Surveys either using available one or creating one). This is a very general tip but hopefully it helps :)
