Bob McGrath Collection, 1959-2009

The collection consists of 24 boxes of McGrath's band and symphonic compositions from his career with Mitch Miller, as a pop star in Japan, as a main character on Sesame Street, and as a performer in the U.S.

The collection consists of 45 microfilms of significant early European music manuscripts housed primarily overseas.

Martin Mailman Collection, 1956-1986

The collection consists of ten boxes, three of which contain reel-to-reel tape recordings of Mailman's work, along with a fourth box which includes works by other composers and concerts and recitals featuring his wife, Mary Nan Mailman. Boxes 5 through 10 were received in November of 2016, and are awaiting processing.

The collection consists of one box, which primarily contains musical compositions, arrangements, and other writings by Marian Mapes-Bouck, as well as ephemera and newspaper clippings.

Robert L. Marquis, Jr. Collection, 1925-1935

The collection consists of two boxes of photos, band parts, and saxophone method books from Robert L. Marquis, Jr., dating from his time with the Aces of Collegeland.

Freddy Martin Collection, 1930-1980

1930-1980

The Freddy Martin collection consists largely of the arrangements Martin's various bands played over the nearly fifty years of his career as a band leader. Series I consists of 4190 manuscript band scores with parts. Series II consists of other types of music, including published sheet music, published arrangements and manuscript lead sheets. Series III consists of Freddy Martin biographical materials, including correspondence, lists of arrangements, photographs, programs and memorabilia.

Stanley Meacham Papers, 1930-1980

The collection consists of Stanley Meacham's research documents in his efforts to collect every published work by composer Dudley Buck, along with a set of Meacham's own compositions beginning around 1930.

The collection consists of two boxes of a variety of literature and promotion materials related to pipe organ builders and specific pipe organs primarily in the United States, along with performance programs, correspondence, catalogs, and newspaper and magazine clippings.

Moon Maids Instantaneous Recordings Collection, 1944-1949

The collection consists of one box of instantaneous sound discs of radio programs and live performances featuring the Moonmaids and the Swingtet (sometimes "Swingtette"), which was the forerunner to the Moonmaids at the University of North Texas. A few related performers (Page Cavanaugh Trio) are also present.

Joe M. Morris Piano Roll Collection, 1902-2006

1902-2006

The collection consists of 5431 piano rolls, containing Western art music and American popular songs, as well as folk and novelty tunes. A majority of the popular songs are arranged as fox trots; many rolls also include lyrics which scroll as the roll progresses.

Manuel Morris Collection, 1944-1991

The collection consists of over one hundred and thirty LP records, twenty-one 78 rpm records and four compact discs constituting the collected recordings of Gerard Souzay, as compiled by Manuel Morris, along with Morris' discography of Souzay's work, and manuscripts and research materials related to the discography.

The collection consists of three boxes of cassette recordings of live performances by the Stan Kenton Orchestra, as well as commercially released studio recordings.

Arnold Schoenberg - Hans Nachod Collection, 1909-1949

1909-1949

The collection consists of two boxes of correspondence and papers that once belonged to Arnold Schoenberg's cousin Hans Nachod. It includes many letters from Schoenberg to Nachod, and a few from Nachod to Schoenberg, as well as a number of music manuscripts in Schoenberg's hand, among which are early songs and arrangements.

The collection consists of four boxes, which primarily contain harp parts for symphonic and operatic works by major composers, but also include photos, conference materials, and LP, 78 rpm, and CD sound recordings featuring Carlos Salzedo and Marcel Grandjany.

The collection consists of five boxes, which primarily contain various arrangements by John Neill. Also present are a small amount of set lists, performance programs, and promotional materials. The music consists primarily of "American songbook" tunes and some selections of sacred music.
