The Spark Makerspace

Ingniting the imagination through cooperative learning

The Spark Workshops Fall 2020

In cooperation with the University’s response to COVID-19, The Spark Makerspace at the University of North Texas Libraries is taking precautions to maintain social distancing, as well as keeping the space as well as equipment sanitized.  In addition our physical location in Willis Library is under construction and will be closed for the summer of 2020. Laser cutting is not available during our closure for construction. If you are in need of makerspace items please send an email to TheSpark@unt.edu

Circulation of materials from The Spark @ Discovery Park is available. Due to increased cleaning and sanitation there is a 24 hour hold when items are returned. After completing the cleaning process, items will then be made available again.

In space equipment is available by appointment and limited by the number of people allowable in the space. To schedule an appointment please use the Request a Consultation form below.

The makerspace team continues to offer online consultations, trainings, and workshops when appropriate and feasible. Keep up with making and makerspace happenings through our blog and our podcast UNTMindSpark.

We look forward to seeing you again when UNT opens.
