Stay Young at Heart is a heart-healthy nutrition education program of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. The program enables you to encourage heart-healthy food choices and cardiovascular information in the workplace and other community settings. This kit contains 50 recipes designed to reduce saturated fat, total fat, cholesterol, sodium, and calories. Also included in the kit are preparation tips, instructions for using the kit, and reproducible art, recipe cards, and educational materials. Materials and recipes are divided among three booklets contained within a portfolio: Introductory Materials for Program Planners; Quantity Recipes and Materials for Food Service Personnel; and Reproducible Materials and Recipes for Consumers.
