Research Lifecycle with the UNT Libraries

This guide outlines how the UNT Libraries supports the research lifecycle. It can act as a starting point or quick reference for finding relevant resources.

The "research lifecycle" is a broad term that refers to the process of conducting research from start to finish. This process can vary by discipline, but the common steps include research planning and design, creating research studies, analyzing data, evaluating how to best share the results, and preserving the results and materials for long term use.

The research lifecycle can be an iterative cyclical process where once a project ends another develops from its conclusion.

The UNT Libraries created this site to be a guide through the research lifecycle and highlight resources that are available in relation to each step of the lifecycle. It is intended to support faculty, students, or staff engaged in any aspect of the research process and includes resources, links, and contacts that can provide more information or support for your projects.
