Physical copies of films: VDs/Blu Rays via UNT Libraries:
Films are located at the
UNT Media Library Willis Library 2nd floor.

  • Except when the location says “Media Library Remote Storage” but you can click on the “Request pickup” link and fill out the information so the item can be delivered to the Media Library for you. Note the number of copies available, and if in remote storage, give time for delivery.

Films selection for screenings:

  • Films will be determined by the facilitators and the group.  Eligible films determined with group input and based on Public Performance Rights (PPR) availability.

Public Performance Rights (PPR) are the legal right to publicly show a film.

If you are completing hosting screenings or events using films, please check out this helpful page on PPR from the Media Library Many of the films in the UNT Media Library already include PPR. To identify these films, search the UNT Library Catalog for the keywords “Public Performance Rights Included”. Streaming films come with individual expiration dates, so PPR changes.  It's a good idea to double-check with your Subject Librarian or Media Library before scheduling a screening or an event using film.
