One strategy that the Collection Development Department uses to add new materials to the collections is to enhance large, interdisciplinary subject areas. This guide provides links to enhancement-related resources.

Research for the English and Communication Studies enhancement covered a wide scope of topics, including: literary history and criticism, drama, poetry, Anglo-Saxon, Anglo-Norman, English Renaissance (excluding Shakespeare), Colonial American literature, folklore, quotations, wit and humor, Anglo-African, Anglo-Indian, business communication, sociology of culture, social psychology, and the performing arts.
