Strategies

Basic and Advanced Library Research

The Discover catalog is home to millions of free resources like books, journals, articles, et cetera. When using the Discover catalog there are several ways to search. You have the option to search from the library homepage and search a particular category [Catalog books & more, Databases, Online Journals] or use the Search It All tab to populate several resources from each category.

If you notice that you are not pulling results that meet your needs, there are several ways to help you in your search process. Here are a few hacks that you can use to alter the way that you search and pull more accurate results.
