Welcome to the UNT Libraries' Juvenile Award Winners LibGuide. The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), awards noteworthy books for children and young adults on an annual basis. These awards are announced every January at a press conference during the ALA Midwinter Meeting. This LibGuide specifically contains information about the Caldecott and Newberry book awards, in addition to a comprehensive list of the winners for each year that links to the book's record on the UNT Library website if we have the item in our collection.
