Corporate filings are official documents and reports that businesses submit to government or regulatory authorities to establish and maintain their legal standing as well as their reputation with the public. These filings vary by jurisdiction but might include initial documents such as Articles of Incorporation as well as ongoing requirements such as annual reports, amendments, and dissolution documents.
Government Sources

SEC Filings & FormsAll companies, foreign and domestic, are required to file registration statements, 10-K annual reports, and other forms with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Anyone can access and download this information for free by using the EDGAR database.

SOSDirectProvides a variety of information on business organizations that file records with the Texas Secretary of State. Requires setting up an account and paying a fee of $1.00 for each record downloaded.
