Like geography, Environmental studies, which examines human interactions with the environment, is very interdisciplinary. Research in environmental studies can advance a hard science perspective -- think ecology, energy, climate change, hydrology; a social science perspective -- political science, anthropology, law, or ethics; a humanities approach -- history, religion, literature; or, a business and economics perspective.
