Geography & the Environment

Information about doing geography research at the University of North Texas Libraries.

The Environment

Like geography, Environmental studies, which examines human interactions with the environment, is very interdisciplinary. Research in environmental studies can advance a hard science perspective -- think ecology, energy, climate change, hydrology; a social science perspective -- political science, anthropology, law, or ethics; a humanities approach -- history, religion, literature; or, a business and economics perspective.

Throughout this guide you will find general library resources that will provide a starting point for your research. Below are several guides created librarians across the UNT Libraries that will offer additional help. And as always, if you do not find what you're needing here, please reach out to your Subject Librarian, Robbie Sittel.
