How to Find Books on Furniture and Furniture Designers


*To find books on furniture and furniture designers, search the UNT Library Catalog for the name of the style of your chair/furniture. Once you find the name of the designer and or furniture company then search those names too.  Also be sure to search the name of your designer in the journal databases under the  "Journal Articles" tab because there is a good chance there will be journal articles compared to books on the designer.

Choose Keyword search.

Chair or Furniture Style:  Furniture AND Empire, chair AND "Eames lounge,"

Designer or furniture company search example:  Eames, Charles; Eames, Charles AND chair; "Herman Miller, Inc."

*Furniture and furniture history books are located in the Willis Library on the 3rd floor.
