WGST 2100: Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies

Library resources for the Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies course

Welcome to the class page for WGST 2100

This class page is for the film essay project in the WGST 2100 course (Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies); however, it has basic research steps and tools that are useful for any research you do. If you find you need more help, use the Ask Us services. Library reference staff members can be reached in person and through phone and email. You may also contact the Subject Librarian for the Women's and Gender Studies Program, Julie Leuzinger (Pronouns: she/her/hers). Note: While I have tried to use inclusive language, if you notice anything that could be improved, please don't hesitate to contact me with suggestions.

Finding Books

Browsing the Catalog: You can perform a subject search from the UNT Library home page, A Subject search is often a good starting point. Your results will display the number of titles we have under that general heading. You can also perform keyword searches. The catalog will look for your search terms anywhere in the library item record (i.e. title, author, subject, notes), allowing you to perform a more targeted search.

From the Library home page select the Doing Research tab from the menu along the top of the page (circled in red below). From the drop-down menu select the Cataloged Books & More link (circled in red below).
