The International Journal of Peace and Development Studies (IJPDS) is a peer reviewed open access journal. The journal commenced publication in October 2010. IJPDS welcomes articles that examines the topics relating to peace and conflict management such as the origins and nature of conflicts, conflict resolution processes, contemporary cases and responses to armed conflicts, peacebuilding and development, political development and conflict management, peace and nonviolent resistance, education and sustainable development, corruption and governance institutions, security and development strategies, deference and security of African countries and peace, regional integration and development.

Connections is a free, peer-reviewed quarterly scholarly journal, published by the Partnership for Peace Consortium, widely read at international security institutes such as the NATO Defense College, US Army War College, Austrian National Defense Academy and numerous others. The Journal promotes discussion about various issues in peace research, including but not limited to, security systems, justice and basic human needs, survival for indigenous people, discourse on peace and war, human security, nonviolent social change, peace and environmental movements, sustainable development, global environmental policies, human rights, self-determination, economic equity, conflict resolution, disarmament, and peace education. This journal is dedicated to enhancing discourse on a wide range of theoretical issues in peace research and improving our knowledge in the quest for global peace. In particular, it wishes to address strategies to deal with local, regional, or global problems. For this purpose, we promote the dialogue between peace research and policy making communities. International Journal of Peace Studies is published twice a year for the International Peace Research Association.

The journal is committed to academic research on conflict analysis and resolution, peace building, humanitarian intervention, peacekeeping and other mechanisms that seek to prevent and control violence. We are also interested in publishing articles which focus on promoting global social change and nonviolence: ecological balance, development, human rights, peace movements and gender. The journal�s aim is to provide space for the interactive research needed for the accumulation of a knowledge base in peace and conflict research.

The Journal of International Relations, Peace Studies, and Development is a high-quality, peer-reviewed academic periodical dedicated to quantitative and qualitative research of political, legal, economic, social and cultural issues within International Relations, Peace Studies, and Development Studies. This inaugural issue focuses on an open theme exhibiting scholarly works on the role of civil society and environmental issues in international relations, the current diplomatic landscape, the war on terror and the role of information in promoting equality and democracy.

U.S. law requires the Secretary of State to provide Congress, by April 30 of each year, a full and complete report on terrorism with regard to those countries and groups meeting criteria set forth in the legislation. This annual report is entitled Country Reports on Terrorism. Beginning with the report for 2004, it replaced the previously published Patterns of Global Terrorism.

Perspectives on Terrorism (PT), the peer-reviewed online journal of the Terrorism Research Initiative (TRI), is published six time per year by our Editorial Team. PT seeks to provide a unique platform for established scholars as well as academics and professionals entering the field of Terrorism, Political Violence and Conflict Studies. It invites them to: present their perspectives on the prevention of, and response to,terrorism and related forms of violent conflict; submit to the journal accounts of evidence-based, empirical scientific research and analyses;
use the journal as a forum for debate and commentary on issues related to the above. Perspectives on Terrorism (PT) could be characterized as ‘nontraditional’ in that it dispenses with some of the traditional rigidities associated with commercial print journals. Topical articles can be published at short notice and reach, through the Internet, a much larger audience than fee-based subscription journals. Our online journal also offers contributors a higher degree of flexibility in terms of content, style and length of articles - but without compromising professional scholarly standards. While aiming to be policy-relevant, PT is not supporting any partisan policies regarding (counter-) terrorism and forms of conflict-waging. Impartiality, objectivity and accuracy are guiding principles we expect contributors to adhere to.

The Jamestown Foundation’s mission is to inform and educate policy makers and the broader community about events and trends in those societies which are strategically or tactically important to the United States and which frequently restrict access to such information. The aim of this Journal is to provide a space for students, academics and professionals to publish work focused on the study of international relations. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the study, high-quality submissions from all academic and professional backgrounds are encouraged. There exists the need to educate policy-makers, and the public in general, on the nature and intensity of the terrorism threat in the twenty-first century. As a member of the academic and research community, the IUCTS has an intellectual obligation, as well as a moral and practical responsibility, to participate in the international effort to arrest the virus of terrorism. The purpose of IUCTS, therefore, is four-fold: To monitor current and future threats of terrorism; To develop response strategies on governmental and non-governmental levels; To effect continual communication with policy-makers, academic institutions, business, media, and civic organizations; To sponsor research programs on critical issues, particularly those relating enabling technologies with policy, and share the findings nationally and internationally.
