Getting from Citation to Full Text

For help deciphering citations and finding the documents that they reference

Finding the full text of a book

  1. From the Libraries homepage, click the little magnifying glass icon in the upper right and then click "Basic search" to search for the title. If the title is short or uses common words, you may need to include other keywords, such as the name of the author(s) or editor(s). If you find the book, you may be presented with options to access the book online through one or more platforms and/or to find a print version of the book in the physical collections of the Libraries.
  2. If you can't find the book in the UNT library catalog, try WorldCat Discovery to locate a print copy at another library. Through this system you can request a copy of the book through interlibrary loan.
