UNT Food Pantry

This guide contains information regarding the UNT Food Pantry and SNAP program.

Donations

Food and Toiletries

Our pantry is stocked solely through donations, and we appreciate your support of the UNT Food Pantry presented by Kroger!

There are a variety of ways to donate:

  • Physical Items:
    • Drop the items off at the food pantry (behind the back of Crumley Hall- enter through Maple Street) during our curbside pick-up hours. Please come to the back (dock) of Crumley Hall under the large green awning, there will be a railing & ramp up to the door, and it will say “Diamond Eagles Student Resource Center” on the outside. You can also use these coordinates for directions for any Maps app you use – 33.208823, -97.149337.
      • Items can also be dropped off at the Union, suite 409, in The Dean of Students M-F, 8am – 5pm

We can arrange to have a staff member pick up the items from you on the UNT campus. Please email DOSFoodPantry@unt.edu to arrange this.

If you have a large donation of goods or items that need to be refrigerated/ frozen, we can arrange a pickup time by emailing us at DOSFoodPantry@unt.edu

Volunteering

Want to impact the Mean Green Community in a personal way? Consider signing up as a volunteer for the UNT Food Pantry presented by Kroger! Our volunteers and our donors are the heart of the success of the UNT Food Pantry presented by Kroger.

What do Volunteers do?

  • Organize bags of food for students based on their current order.
  • Sort and shelve food products
  • Help receive donations and code them appropriately
  • Check expiration dates for outdated food for disposal
  • Distribute food to students using the food pantry.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at DOSFoodPantry@unt.edu
