Proquest Dissertations and Theses Global - UNT Libraries Subscription Database

Search Proquest Dissertations and Theses Full-Text Global database for dissertations and some theses written at UNT and at other universities. Choose "Advanced Search" for the following search options: Topic, Author, Advisor, University/Institution, Subject Heading, Index Term, Date, and Language.
*If accessing off campus, you will be asked for your EUID and EUID password before the database will open.

Using the Advanced Search Options in Proquest Dissertations and Theses Global

Topic Search:
If you want to find dissertations or theses written on a topic, enter keywords of the topic separated by the word "AND" in the first search box (leave the field "Anywhere").

Author Search:
If you are looking for a specific dissertation or thesis and know the author's name, then enter their last name, first name in the author field.

How to search for dissertations by topic or author in Proquest Dissertations and Theses Global.

Click on the Abstract of any dissertation or thesis to see the subject and identifier/keywords. Click on the identifier/keywords or subjects to see more dissertations or theses like it, or add these words to your topic search string.
To cite the dissertation or thesis, click on the Cite icon to the right of the screen.

Obtaining Copies of Dissertations and Theses - Interlibrary Loan

If the dissertation or thesis you need is not available in a full-text format in the databases or repositories in this guide, you may request a copy through our borrowing program Interlibrary Loan. Your EUID is your username, and the password is your EUID password.
