What Is Interlibrary Loan?

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is our service that connects you with sources we don't own, without any cost to you. When the UNT Libraries don't have an article or book that you need, we'll request the item for you from other libraries. It takes about 3-4 days for articles to arrive (often less) and 1-2 weeks for books. Your requests are handled through an electronic system called ILLiad. See the boxes below for how to register for your ILLiad account and make a request for an item. For more details on the ILL service, visit the Interlibrary Loan Borrowing page.
