Many private organizations and associations gather statistics in their area of interest and publish it on their Web sites or in various scholarly or trade journals and newspapers.

Associations unlimitedAssociations Unlimited is now part of the Gale Directory Library. The information previously available in Associations Unlimited is contained in four titles on the new platform (Encyclopedia of Associations: International Organizations Encycloped of Associations: National Organizations of the U.S. Encyclopedia of Associations: Regional, State and Local Organizations and National Directory of Nonprofit Organizations) and is searchable in both a broad platform search and a targeted search within one of the titles.
