CountryWatch provides critical country-specific profiles and intelligence briefings. They are an information provider for corporations, government agencies, universities, schools, libraries and individuals needing up-to-date news and information on each of the recognized countries of the world.
While CountryWatch does not offer peer reviewed resources, this is a great jumping off point to get you started.
To access CountryWatch, go to the Databases tab (circled in red below) from the blue box on the library homepage. Start typing CountryWatch (highlighted in yellow below) in the Find a Database search box, then click on CountryWatch (Premium) when you see it pop up, this will take you directly to the resource.
Select CountryReviews (circled in red below), then Select a Country from the drop down menu on the left hand side, Lebanon (highlighted in yellow below) was selected for this example.
The menu on the left hand side will provide information to get you started on your Country Conditions Report. You may also find the information provided in the CIA World Fact Book useful in starting your research. If you have questions about this resource, please contact your Women's and Gender Studies Librarian, Julie Leuzinger.
