This class page is for the Research Project in the WGST 4260/5800 course (Gender and Globalization); however, it has basic research steps and tools that are useful for any research you do. If you find you need more help, use the Ask Us services. Library reference staff members can be reached in person and through phone and email. You may also contact the Subject Librarian for the Women's and Gender Studies Program, Julie Leuzinger (Pronouns: she/her/hers). Note: While I have tried to use inclusive language, if you notice anything that could be improved, please don't hesitate to contact me with suggestions.
UNT has several library locations. Most materials for Women's and Gender Studies can be located in Willis Library, Sycamore Library, Media Library, or through our electronic resources. If you have questions about our library services, just Ask Us or visit our UNT Libraries home page.
To find Course Reserves:
Browsing the Catalog: You can perform a subject search from the UNT Library home page, A Subject search is often a good starting point. Your results will display the number of titles we have under that general heading. You can also perform keyword searches. The catalog will look for your search terms anywhere in the library item record (i.e. title, author, subject, notes), allowing you to perform a more targeted search.
From the Library home page select the Cataloged Books & More tab on the left side of the blue box (circled in red below). Type your search term(s) in the text box, in this case, "country risk" (highlighted in yellow below), change the drop down menu to the right of the text box to Subject, then click the green Search button to see your results.
If you need help searching for books, please contact your Women's and Gender Studies Librarian, Julie Leuzinger.
