This class page is for the Research Project in the WGST 4260/5800 course (Gender and Sustainable Development); however, it has basic research steps and tools that are useful for any research you do. UNT has several library locations. Most materials for Women's and Gender Studies can be located in Willis Library, Sycamore Library, Media Library, or through our electronic resources. If you have questions about our library services, just Ask Us or visit our UNT Libraries home page. 

• Students can borrow or renew books at our Library Services Desks with a current student ID.
• Need a book or article not available at the UNT Libraries? Use Interlibrary Loan. Create and use your Illiad account. 
• Photocopying, scanning, and printing are available at all libraries (24/7 at our Willis Library).
• The Libraries offer several study areas for both quiet and group study!

• Visit the Course Reserves page to search by course letter or your instructor's last name.
• Option 1: Search WGST in the SEARCH BY COURSE CODE​ search box.
• Option 2: Search your professor's name by using the SEARCH BY INSTRUCTOR NAME (LAST, FIRST) search box.
• Take the call number and your UNT ID card to the Library Services Desk to request the book.

Browsing the Catalog: You can perform a subject search from the UNT Library home page, A Subject search is often a good starting point. Your results will display the number of titles we have under that general heading. You can also perform keyword searches. The catalog will look for your search terms anywhere in the library item record (i.e. title, author, subject, notes), allowing you to perform a more targeted search.

From the Library home page select the Cataloged Books & More tab on the left side of the blue box (circled in red below). Type your search term(s) in the text box, in this case, "country risk" (highlighted in yellow below), change the drop down menu to the right of the text box to Subject, then click the green Search button to see your results.
