Technical Communication is a field that focuses on making technical information understandable to a wide variety of audiences, and using technology to make information more usable in various workplaces, including business, industry, government, healthcare professions, and research settings.
Among the skills that technical communication develops are technical writing & editing, coding, user experience & web design, audience analysis, content development, marketing & promotion, data analysis & visualization, and proposal & grant writing.
