Scope of this SOCI 4210 library course guide:
We will use this space to  link to resources deemed useful by the Librarian and your professor Dr. Buddy Scarborough for library sessions or SOCI 4210: Intersectionality course activities. 

• Use the Articles (databases) tab to search databases for (scholarly) articles
• Use the Books tab to browse books in the UNT collection 
• Use the Reference Sources tab to find online & print encyclopedias
• Use the Datasets tab to search for sources compiling datasets
• Use the Citing + RefWorks tab for citation tools and resources

UNT Libraries has an official website and library guides for subject, courses and special topics.

Library locations:

• For all locations, you can consult the UNT Libraries hour
• Willis Library (with Music Library and Special Collections  on 4th floor )
• Sycamore Library 
  (Note: Sycamore was called Eagle Commons Library until July 2021)
• Media Library
  • Chilton Hall. Games, Movies, and e-sports.
• Discovery Park Library
  • Not on main campus but on-campus shuttles can take you there or you can have items delivered to Willis Library.

• Ask Us  (askus@unt.edu) you have any library questions
• Course Reserves
  (Your instructor may have put virtual resources on reserve this semester. Check your syllabus or search (by course or instructor)
• Use Interlibrary Loan ILLiad account for non-UNT items you would like to request (limited services)

  • Computers in Willis Library have have access to the ‘Print Credit’ system for currently enrolled students through the student funded printers , Printing/Scanning/Copying at UNT Libraries 
• Access: Off campus? (EUID & Password needed) for electronic materials (books, databases, etc)
• Spark Makerspace is in Willis Library, and Discovery Park.
