Finding News Resources at the UNT Libraries
Newspapers have joined the trend in requiring subscriptions to access and read connect on their websites. Instead of paying a few dollars every month to access the news for research, consider accessing them through the UNT Libraries collections. Many databases include newspapers in them, and as a student, your library fees already grant you access to their content.
This page is designed to introduce you to finding newspapers through the UNT Databases so you do not have to purchase subscriptions to news websites. This will save you money! There are a few different ways that you can access newspapers from the UNT Libraries’ website. The instructions below show the three main ways to access newspapers. Images of each step are provided to help you navigate the web pages.
Please note the catalog option refers to the Old Catalog system and not the new Discover Catalog. The steps are basically same but some screens will look different. If you need help, AskUs or contact a librarian.
