JOUR 4470: Ethics, Law, and Diversity in Strategic Communication

Study and application of theoretical and cultural bases for ethical behavior as well as an overview of laws and regulations pertaining to strategic communications and mass communications. Students apply theoretical models of ethical behavior to analyses of historical and real-time case studies in strategic communications and learn techniques for arriving at ethical business decisions. Understanding and working with diverse communities is emphasized throughout the course.
