The Vice President of the Division of Institutional Equity and Diversity, Joanne Woodard, kicks off the 19th annual Equity and Diversity Conference with the Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Shani Barrax Moore.

Shawn Brewer from Peterbilt Motors, the division’s partners in the Peterbilt Corporate-Collegiate evening event, introduces their diversity council and says a few words on Peterbilt’s commitment to advancement, equity, and inclusion practices. Dr. Saili Bhonde from Denton Family Dental presents the Inclusive Excellence Award to the Office of Outreach and Admissions. Dr. Saili Bhonde and her team sponsored the award for the 2019 year. Those who received the award were Landon Ellison as the Director of Outreach and Rebeca Perfecto as the Assistant Director of Freshman Admissions.
