Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals
BuildingGreen offers information resources that promote building with environmental issues in mind. BuildingGreen contains journal articles from the journal Environmental Building News, green building products listings and ratings, building specifications, building codes and certifications (such as LEED), architectural case studies, and blog posts. The easiest way to search is to input your topic in the overall search box at the top right of the screen. Then you will receive all of the different formats of information mentioned above on your topic. BuildingGreen is also now in Designer Pages https://www.designerpages.com/. Students can sign up for a free BASIC Designer Pages account by choosing register at the top of the Designer Pages home page.
Business Source Complete provides full text and abstracts of articles in more than 1,200 journals, magazines, newspapers, videos, and periodicals covering a wide range of topics in business and industry. Provides company profiles, industry profiles, market research reports and country reports. Additional full text, non-journal content includes financial data, books, monographs, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses and more. Dates of Coverage: 1886 to present.
Google Scholar includes peer-reviewed literature (not all of which the UNT Libraries subscribes to), theses and dissertations, and informal publications like drafts of articles, working papers, and technical reports tied to institutions and individual scholars. Google Scholar provides links to full text for freely available publications and to those to which the UNT Libraries subscribe. Subscription links are only available from on campus or if you visit Settings and choose “University of North Texas System” from “Library Links”.
