The World's Best Orations: From the Earliest Period to the Present Time
Arranged alphabetically by author. Gives for each a brief biographical sketch and selected orations. Indexes orators, subjects, periods, events. The collection was published in 1901, so that's what they mean by "the present time."
Representative American Speeches
This annual publication provides texts of representative speeches of the year.
Vital Speeches of the Day
Full text of the important addresses of contemporary leaders of public opinion in the fields of economics, politics, education, sociology, business, labor, etc.; heavy representation from government and big business.
Compilation of Presidential Documents
The Compilation of Presidential Documents collection consists of the Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents and the Daily Compilation of Presidential Documents, which are official transcripts of the president's news conferences, messages to Congress, public speeches and statements, and other presidential materials released by the White House.
