Technical Communication Guide

What is Technical Communication?

Technical Communication is a field that focuses on making technical information understandable to a wide variety of audiences. The practice often uses technology to make information more usable in various workplaces. Technical communication is useful for business, industry, government, healthcare professions, and research settings.

Technical communication education develops language skills like technical writing and editing, content development, and proposal and grant writing. It builds tech skills related to user experience and web design, coding, data analysis, and data visualization. It includes business techniques like audience analysis, marketing and promotion.
