Renewable Energy and Conservation: Introduction

This guide is a gateway to research resources that support the Renewable Energy and Conservation research cluster at the University of North Texas.

UNT's Renewable Energy and Conservation Research Cluster

The Research Clusters at the University of North Texas bring together faculty from a wide range of disciplines to address complex issues through interdisciplinary collaborations and innovation.

The Renewable Energy and Conservation research cluster conducts research in renewable power generation, smart grid transmission, and efficient buildings to develop energy and technology strategies that address the region and nation’s 21st century conservation needs. From device development to system modeling and validation, REAC serves as a research pipeline for diverse energy and conservation projects, including affordable photovoltaic systems and wider utilization of wind power; cost effective, high energy efficient building products; and key grid-tie solutions for wide penetration of distributed renewable energy.

About This Guide

Use this guide to find materials related to renewable energy and conservation.

The Books & Media tab provides a search interface and advice for finding books, audiovisual media, maps, and other items owned by the UNT Libraries. It also highlights selected resources.

The Find Articles tab furnishes a tool to search the subscription databases of periodical literature and other scholarly research resources. This tab also offers some strategies for finding appropriate information and points out some databases or other resources that address issues related to disaster research.

The On the Web tab lists freely available Internet resources.

Tracking Research with RefWorks

RefWorks is a tool that allows you to create a database of citations for academic and personal use.

RefWorks allows you to add references from databases, the UNT library catalog, websites and more. Then you can generate reference lists for your papers and projects in the citation style of your choice.

Visit the RefWorks guide to create your account and start adding references to your own database.
