Geography Special Projects: Hazy Views over U.S. Public Lands

Resources for geography special projects

Texas State Publications

Since 2011, UNT has digitized and made accessible via the Portal to Texas History, the Texas State Publications collections. We also received a donated collection of pre-2011 materials we are working to digitize. The majority of pre-2011 materials are discoverable via the UNT Libraries' catalog, Discover. Materials are housed at the Sycamore Library (currently closed to the public) and can be requested for checkout.

Federal Government Documents / Publications

The UNT Libraries Government Information Connection offers a deep and historic collection of federal government documents. Many of these are discoverable via the Libraries' catalog, Discover. However, many more are not yet cataloged. The collections are at the Sycamore Library (currently closed due to COVID restrictions). The Government Information Librarian and Sycamore Library staff are available to assist with discovering government documents, in UNT's collections, online, or through other Federal Depository Libraries.
