ART 1700 Foundations: Space : Spark Resources

Library research resources and The Spark workshops in support of ART 1700 Foundations: Space class. Professor Rachel Black.

The UNT Libraries' makerspace, The Spark, promotes the cooperative and creative use of technology. We provide the UNT community including faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students with access to equipment, software, and training that promotes innovative, cross-disciplinary learning.

In an effort to support UNT students, The Spark Makerspace has also integrated a number of virtual processes to continue to support our online students. Online workshops, consultations, and one on one trainings are offered through Zoom. You can use the same request form for consultations and trainings just indicate a preference for online/zoom sessions.

In addition we are adding Chat support during our hours of operation. If you need assistance with a resources, learning a design application or coding we will be live to assist or get you scheduled for support. To reach the Spark Chat, go to our webpages and click the button to the right that is labeled 'Spark Chat'.

The Spark will host numerous workshops at one of our locations in Willis Library or Discovery Park and online this semester to help you get familiar with the great tools and software available for use. For the Fall 2020 semester our online workshops will be listed as a zoom session on our events page.

The Spark offers assistance with learning how to use resources but we are not authorized to develop code or projects for individuals. We are here to help you and offer the following types of support.
