BIOL 1740: Biology for Science Majors II Lab: Full Text and Citation

How to locate a peer-reviewed, primary source, research article for your written assignment.

Email the Full Text and Citation

When you've settled on an article in Academic Search Complete, then you need the full text document and its citation. That's easy to do in Academic Search Complete - just email both to yourself.

ASC email

1. Look at the panel of Tools to the right of the article's Abstract and select the Email icon.

2. The PDF is automatically selected to be sent as an attachment. Select Citation Format and use the drop-down menu to pick the style required by your instructor; the citation will arrive in the email's body.

Finally, enter your email address and any other information you want, then Send. Now you can save/print the article wherever you want, and copy and paste the citation into the reference list of your paper.
